Supervision is fundamental in children’s social care. It is the bedrock on which excellent practice is built and the foundation for the development of a stable, resilient and engaged workforce. Employees at all levels of the system need to have the opportunity to engage in emotionally literate, reflective and curious supervision which promotes critical thinking, hopeful practice and wellbeing.
