In honour of International Women’s Day, we will be celebrating diversity and leadership in social work.
This keynote session will welcome Sarah Blackmore, executive director of strategy, policy and engagement at Social Work England. She will reflect on the journey she has taken from social work training in Ireland and working with families, to leading the strategic direction of the specialist regulator for social work.
She will also welcome other female leaders in social work to reflect on the role of women in leadership across the sector and what more can be done to overcome the barriers to women taking on leadership roles.
