Hi Everyone,

I wish to introduce you to Saira-Jayne Jones who I have been working with during the Be-Longing film screenings which is about fostering children.

I invited her because she is a social worker who is also care experienced and I valued her input to the Q&A session.

During this workshop delegates will:

• Critically reflect upon their values, their current thinking & practice position.
• Recognise some of the key issues that impact upon being the difference to a child/young person.
• Reflect upon the shared knowledge, information, strategies, skills, capabilities, resources and tools needed to support families & enable children & young people to experience a successful journey through care and into adulthood; including consideration of current frameworks for practice & legislation.
