I just wanted to let you know about upcoming community of practice sessions plus new dates for interest. We have a session today (10th December) as part of the adoption culture change series plus more dates beside.

  • 10th December 2024, 12 – 1.30pm. Focus: Adoption Culture Change Series (2 of 3). Focus: Session 2. Maintaining relationships “theory of change” around the barriers and facilitating factors in changing the culture to move towards more open adoptions. In collaboration with UEA and Adoption England.
  • 15th January 2025, 12 – 1.30pm. Focus: Adoption Culture Change Series (3 of 3). Focus: Session 3. The importance of individualised planning, and what factors need to be taken into account in getting the right plan for individual children-aiming for contact that is safe and meaningful. In collaboration with UEA and Adoption England.
  • 18th February 2025, 12 – 1.30pm. Focus:‘Understanding the needs, experiences, and outcomes of children and young people living in supported accommodation.’ In collaboration with Matthew Brazier, Ofsted.
  • 15th April 2025, 12 – 1.30pm. Focus:Understanding the needs, experiences, and outcomes of children and young people living in supported accommodation.’ In collaboration with Matthew Brazier, Ofsted. Venue: online.
  • 30th April 2025, 12 – 1.30pm. Focus: UCAS (University and Colleges Admissions Service) – Supporting Care Experienced Students. In collaboration with UCAS.
