Children and Families Act factsheets

4454SJQ5LJBJMIThe Children and Families Act 2014 became law on 13th March 2014.  The new system started on 1st September 2014.

“Uemploy” supports people with a learning disability to employ their own personal assistant (PA). They have written 8 helpful factsheets about the Children and Families Act and special education needs (SEN).  The factsheets focus on the parts of the Act relating to people with special educational needs (SEN) or disabilities and their families.

Our mission is to help bring about improvements in practice and policy. Holding children at the centre of what we do through our work with and for them, we aim to lead and promote excellent care and services. The partnership consists of an elected Chair and elected Regional Leads who represent their regions at a national level (two from each of the nine regions within England).
