Hi there,
Unfortunately, our lead speaker is unwell with covid. For this reason, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to cancel today’s Community of Practice: Contextual Safeguarding session. We know this is disappointing. All good wishes are with our colleague. We wish her a full and swift recovery.
What next?
The good news is that we will reschedule for a date in May 2022. As soon as we’re able to confirm the new date we’ll let you know, but heads up re potential dates to note:
- Tuesday 17th May, 9.30 – 11.30am
- Tuesday 24th May, 9.30 – 11.30am
- Tuesday 31st May, 9.30 – 11.30am
Participants who registered via Eventbrite will be contacted with the new date as soon as we have it. For ease, anyone who registered via Eventbrite will automatically be registered for the rescheduled date to save having to register again.
What if you did not register via Eventbrite?
The new date and registration link will be publicised via NIROMP website and Eventbrite. All subscribers to NIROMP’s website will therefore receive notification of the new date via email. Subscription is free and will enable you to receive NIROMP news and updates via email – simply add your work email to the subscription box at the foot of the NIROMP website: https://niromp.org/

Preparatory reading for May event
Participants will be asked to have a read of the following documents in preparation for the sessions:

The presentations will assume a basic level of knowledge about Contextual Safeguarding.
