The new online service, called Parent Info, will help give parents and carers the information needed to help keep children safe. Parents and carers can now face a minefield of issues impacting on children’s safety.
The intention behind this initiative is to empower families, to help parents and carers spot some of the warning signs for example in respect of possible self-harm, online safety and managing money in a digital world.
As well as helping parents and carers to have the confidence to speak to their children on sensitive issues, the service provides pathways for where families can go for more hands on support on specific issues.
