Ben Butler and his partner Jennie Gray have been jailed – Butler for the brutal murder of his six-year-old daughter Ellie Butler and Gray for child cruelty and for covering up her daughter’s murder.
The High Court ruled that Ellie should be cared for by her parents. Very sadly and within one year of that decision, Ellie was brutally murdered by Butler.
