Brighton & Hove Children’s Services are looking to recruit an Independent Reviewing Officer to join their Safeguarding & Review Service.

Closing date: 26th April 2017
Interviews: 8th May 2017

Our Safeguarding and Review Service consists of a dynamic team, with a strong focus on meeting the needs of children and their families – being strong advocates for improving the lives of children in the city. Changes we’ve introduced include strengths and relationship-based Child Protection Conferences and we are introducing ‘Me and My World’ child looked after reviews.

An opportunity has arisen for an Independent Reviewing Officer to join the Safeguarding & Review Service. Your role will be to chair Child Protection Conferences and Reviews for Children Looked After. As part of the Performance & Safeguarding Families, Children & Learning Directorate you will have a key role in ensuring effective plans are in place that ensure children are kept safe and outcomes are met.
