The experiences and progress of children in care and care leavers “is outstanding”.
There is good evidence of Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) “scrutiny and challenge” with “good impact”.
Senior leaders recognise the challenging environment in which practitioners and managers operate. The “safety and well-being of staff is a strategic priority”. They have created a culture that is enabling high-quality social work to develop and be sustained.
A great read. Well down to all involved at Brent Council.

Aidhour has provided the IRO service to Brent Council for almost 20 years and we are so pleased that the Council have received this acknowledgement for their hard work and dedication to children and families in their area. We are of course delighted to have received an acknowledgement about the excellent work that out IROs do within the outstanding grading that was awarded for services to children who are looked after and care leavers

Very well done to everyone involved Sally. Children who are looked after and care leavers should expect no less. We should expect no less.
