NIROMP are proud to promote the MCR’s award winning Young Talent mentoring programme.
In 2023 the MCR Pathway are looking for help to provide more young people with a mentor who’s there just for them. Being a mentor isn’t easy, it takes time and persistence, but it’s worth it. We know that not every young person has a trusted adult around them to turn to, and one hour a week is all it takes to have a lifetime of impact.
MCR Pathways is a national, award-winning mentoring programme. The MCR vision is that every care-experienced young person, or those who have experienced disadvantage, gets the same education outcomes, career opportunities and life chances as every other young person.
The MCR school-based mentoring programme supports young people to find, grow and use their talents. We help young people to build confidence, broaden aspirations and explore their future pathways. MCR’s Young Talent programme helps young people progress to positive post-school destinations.
