A Care Review in England? Whose views count?

If you are a care experienced person you can give your views on what the forthcoming Care Review in England should cover and how it should be run. Sophia explains more via this 2 minute video:

The “Our Care Our Say” is a collaboration between the Care Experience Conference team, The Care Leavers Association, the National IRO Managers Partnership (NIROMP) and care experienced friends from across the wider community.

We believe that care experienced people of all ages have the right to have a say in the Care Review. Our firm belief is that people’s different experiences of Care, through their life course, is of incredible value in developing the focus, aims, delivery and outcomes of the Care Review in England.

An online survey is being carried out and an online discussion for 100 people is taking place on Saturday 7th November 2020. This means that the views of care experienced people of all ages will be amongst the first things to land on the desk of the independent chair of the Care Review in England when they are appointed.

If you are a care experienced person of any age you can give your views on what the forthcoming Care Review in England should cover and how it should be run. Complete the Our Care Our Say online survey and book your place to join the online event on 7th November. Our band of volunteers have enabled this event to happen for free.

The Our Care Our Say event will be supported by skilled facilitators and scribes to make sure that the views of all participants are carefully collected. Our thanks go to those who have volunteered their time and expertise.

Please help spread the word!
