For National Care Leavers Week, Research in Practice have made the Setting up care leavers to succeed: Online learning package open access and brought together other Research in Practice learning resource to support outcomes for care leavers.
In 2019, the Care Experienced Conference shared views and celebrated the richness and diversity of the care experienced community. Research in Practice open access strategic briefing and series of videos explore how the pledge made at the conference translates key messages into concrete actions, which can be taken to improve things for children leaving care.
Based on the views of young people and drawing on the latest research evidence and innovative practice, the Setting up care leavers to succeed: Online learning package examines how care leavers can be supported to have the best possible start to adult life. To support work in the area the online learning package will be open access until 29 October.
